This app makes binding and managing drone connections simple in the classroom, allowing for great a high degree of control and customizability. Download the Orqa FPV.Ctrl App for IOS or Android

Binding to your Receiver

  • Open the Orqa FPV.Ctrl App

  • Turn on the Orqa FPV.Ctrl Radio

  • Select the device underneath Available Controllers and select Connect

  • Select Ghost Menu

  • Press the text that reads Bind, then on the secondary menu press Bind + Setup… 

  • Change the radio protocol to SBUS

  • Connect a battery to the drone, the first time you do this the receiver will automatically enter bind mode. There is no need to press the button as in old receivers.

  • On the App, press Start Bind


Calibrate your Radio Gimbals:

  • Open the Orqa FPV.Ctrl App

  • Turn on the Orqa FPV.Ctrl Radio

  • Select the device underneath Available Controllers and select Connect

  • Select About & Settings, choose Calibration

    • Go through the steps as indicated to position the gimbals according to the animation. You will have only few seconds per position. 

  • Connect to Betaflight and verify on the Receiver tab that the drone is responding appropriately. 

    • The minimum values should be 1000, middle value 1500, maximum 2000

    • Ensure the simulated drone is not rotating with the radio gimbals at rest.


Reduce Radio Transmitter Power:

  • Open the Orqa FPV.Ctrl App

  • Turn on the Orqa FPV.Ctrl Radio

  • Select the device underneath Available Controllers and select Connect

  • Select Ghost Menu, then Tx Power

    • Set Mode to Manual

    • Set Power to 16uW (16 microwatts)

Adjusting Betaflight

  • Modes Tab - Adjust AUX and Range Settings for:

    • Arm - Left Locking Press Button (Aux 1)

    • Flip Over After Crash - Right Press Button (Aux 3)

    • Beeper - Right Press Button (Aux 3)

    • Leaving Angle Mode on Aux 8 with the entire Range selected
